This is a large canvas. I made it easier for myself to animate the stick figures in their carts by having each cart be a graphic symbol that contained the full animation of each stick figure. That way, I could separate the cart animation from the stick animation. The placing of the rails as well as the lava blocks was done using nested groups of perfectly aligned blocks which I could break apart and trim to fit the space I needed to fill (don't worry if that sentence made no sense to you).
