Episode 8 included some parallax backgrounds which were done manually but in a very organized way, using guides and perspective lines. The animation of the stick figures riding the ghast was also a complicated thing to do.

EDIT 1/23/25: sorry, the file was causing the latest version of Animate to crash. the files have been updated! AVMS8_15.fla contains the same backgrounds but simplified so they don't cause it to crash, and AVMS8_BG_backup.fla contains the original backgrounds that can be swapped back in if you want to see it with high quality backgrounds.
